Coming all the way from sunny Florida, Maria has decided to trade her beachwear for snow gear. She couldn’t be more excited to call Colorado home, meet new faces, and create beautiful looks at Twig.

Maria was a previous educator and manager for a corporate salon before she went on the journey of opening her very own studio in Orlando, Florida. Her love of learning and creating has propelled her in the industry over the years and helped her cultivate a clientele that’s not only excited for each visit, but that trusts her implicitly.

A firm believer that honesty is the best policy, Maria prides herself on being transparent with everyone she comes in contact with. Whenever the mood strikes, definitely feel free to ask for advice or even just bounce ideas around with her. She’s never afraid to change it up and loves when people let their creativity shine through. If you’re ever in the mood to be bold and make a statement, know that you’re speaking Maria’s language! Her goal will always be to create the most “uniquely-you” look and help you fall in love with yourself all over again.

Her calm, yet still exuberant, personality makes her an amazing person to talk to about life, goals, dreams, or anything your heart desires and she will always do her best to make your visit feel warm and welcoming. Over the past year she’s created a life of adventure in the Colorado outdoors from hiking to paddle boarding with her new puppy, exploring new cities, and dancing her heart out at music festivals. On her off days you can catch Maria with an iced chai, her pup, and her nose in a laptop working on her books.
